EXCLUSIVE The action in Tiger Zinda Hai is very different from the action in Race 3, says Salman Khan

Salman Khan is back to doing what he does best- action. The actor is gearing up for the release of action thriller Tiger Zinda Hai which happens to be one of the highly anticipated films of the year. The film is based on a real story of abduction of nurses and promises to be high on entertainment and action.

With that being said, Salman Khan underwent a lot of training to perform during high octane action sequences. The film promises to be action-packed and Salman can be seen performing some never- seen- before action sequences. But, it wasn’t the first time Salman had to do some rigorous training for a film.

Last year, Salman Khan starred in Ali Abbas Zafar directorial Sultan which ended being a successful film. He essayed the role of a wrestler in the film and had to train a lot for the same. From gaining weight to shedding it, the physical aspect of it was quite challenging. Coming to Tiger Zinda Hai, the training seemed to have become hectic as the level of the action increases. Now going forward, it will be different for Race 3 as well.

Salman Khan admitted that even though he had a lot of training in Sultan, the level of physical fitness required for Tiger Zinda Hai was next level. Post this; he is also starring in another action packed film Race 3 which also requires a lot of physical work.

On Monday, Bollywood Hungama spoke to Salman Khan about his intense training session in Sultan and whether it helped him during Tiger Zinda Hai. Salman said, “It was a different kind of training altogether. Now, the action in Sultan is very different from the action in Tiger Zinda Hai. Now, the action in Tiger Zinda Hai to Race 3 is different. Although it is similar kind, you always need to be in the physical shape.”

When we asked whether the entire process was draining, Salman Khan added, “It is draining. When you work out, you stretch. You learn different things like wrestling, MMA, weight training, whatever. We train for an hour and a half a day which is fine. But, when you are shooting for 6- 8 hours, you are either jumping or running one after the other. The whole day you shoot for 10-12 hours, you are just at it nonstop.”

Meanwhile, Tiger Zinda Hai stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as super spies Tiger and Zoya. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is releasing on December 22.
