The two major Bollywood producers, Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor sharing a frame together is definitely not to be missed! It is a known fact that Karan and Ekta share a great camaraderie and are often seen hanging out together. This time around too, it seems that the duo planned an evening full of talks and banters. Or at least that’s what we think of her latest post!
Ekta Kapoor loves to give glimpses of her life on Instagram. And, the now father of two, Karan Johar is no different either when it comes to his love for social media. Recently, the TV Czarina took to the picture sharing network wherein she gave everyone a sneak peek into her ‘date night’ with Karan Johar.
Looks like it was a fruitful evening as Ekta expressed her thanks to the filmmaker-producer for helping her get clarity on matters. She captioned this selfie saying, “Date night n #therapeutic chats !!! Love like no other!!! U give me clarity ! Make me ask difficult questions help me get those answers !!!!#karmicrelationships.” Going by her caption, it is definitely one Bollywood friendship that a lot may envy!
On the work front, Ekta Kapoor is gearing up for one of the most awaited summer releases of the year – the chick flick Veere Di Wedding. It is a multi-starrer featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in lead roles. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film is slated to release on June 1.
As for Karan Johar, he has ample of his productions in the pipeline including Bucket List [Marathi], Student Of The Year 2 and Kalank. The Tiger Shroff starrer Student Of The Year 2 will mark the debut of star kid Ananya Pandey and theatre star Tara Sutaria. Kalank has an ensemble cast of Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles.
