Deepika Padukone is Bollywood’s queen and she sits on her throne with grace and a lot of poise. Well, that’s what we like about her the most. She does not let success or failure get to her head and that is what makes her special. She was spotted with a back plaster at Mumbai airport yesterday and got us all worried. Well, though she looked peppy and chirpy in high waist pants, ponytail and grey tee…we got a little worried about her back bandage. Later in the day, ace filmmaker and DP’s upcoming film’s director Vishal Bharadwaj took to Facebook to decode this mystery to us. So, Deepika’s back injury has resurfaced and which is why she was seen wearing a plaster to protect her back. Doctors have advised her two months of rest and therefore, her upcoming film has been delayed. Because let’s face: health is everything.
Like Padmaavat, even her upcoming gangster movie will be very demanding on action and will require DP to put in a lot of strength and intensity. We also wrote about how she was training really hard for the movie. Her trainer Yasmin Karachiwala took to Insta to share awesome workout videos on her page. But now looks like the Padmaavat star needs to take it easy and chill for a bit. Maybe spend some time with her beau Ranveer Singh?
While DP is busy recuperating, Ranveer is neck deep in the shoot of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. He was snapped in Dharavi with co-star Alia Bhatt. His rapper avatar was instantly lapped up by fans! He will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba and Kabir Khan’s 1983.
