Deepika Padukone is embroiled in several controversies surrounding her upcoming film Padmavati. While the controversy refuses to die down, nothing is stopping the actress from continuing her work and enjoying the time with friends and family.

Amidst all this, Deepika Padukone attended her best friend Aditya Narayan's wedding this past weekend. Her friend Aditya tied the knot on November 25^th and it was a traditional affair. Hugging her friend in a lovely photo, she captioned it, "then, now & forever...@aditya__narayan @divya4488."

For the wedding ceremony, Deepika Padukone wore a red silk saree with golden work on it. She wore a traditional gold choker with huge earrings and mid parted tied hair. She kept her makeup minimal and let her outfit do the talking.

It turns out that Deepika Padukone and Aditya Narayan have been friends since their childhood and we have a lovely picture to prove it. Before attending the wedding, Deepika had shared a collage with Aditya from the time when they few years old. Dressed in red and white with bowl-cut hair, Deepika looked cute in it. She captioned the photo, "forever friends @aditya__narayan."

On the work front, Deepika Padukone is starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Padmavati alongside Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. The film is currently embroiled in controversies and has been postponed. The new release is yet to be announced.
