When you ask someone 'How are you?', the chances are that instead of a boring 'I am fine. Thank you', you might get a peppy 'All is well' in reply. Such has been the impact of the Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots, that the song is on its way to become a contemporary feel-good album slogan.
Amul, with its knack of picking up topical issues and converting them into memorable ads, has come up with yet another one on 3 Idiots. The ad has 3 guys (in reference to Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman) in their by-now-world famous pose, with the slogan 'Kisne kisko idiot banaya'.
The witty line might be a reference to the controversies that have plagued the film since its release. First, it was about a ragging scene in the film, and then about abetting student suicides. If that wasn't enough, there was a controversy about the famed (or is it 'framed') author Chetan Bhagat, about him not getting due credits in the film. And who better than Amul to butter up the situation!
All in all, it's an ad that's worth being spread...ooops... we mean... talked about! Way to go, Amul.
