Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Ayan Mukerji meet for look test; shoot to begin in March : Bollywood News

Ranbir Kapoor has quite a few anticipated projects in the pipeline one of which is Brahmastra. Earlier this month, the actor along with Alia Bhatt, and Ayan Mukerji had been to Israel to kick-start the training for the first schedule of their superhero flick, Brahmastra. The trio has already begun stunt training, dance rehearsals and look test for the film.

On Sunday, megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture from a studio which shows him, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji. The meeting was held for the look test for Brahmastra. Sharing the picture on Instagram, Big B wrote, “Ranbir Kapoor , Ayan and yours truly at look test for BRAHMASTRA .. cool .. shoot starts next month .. with Alia too .. a joy to be with this incredible young generation..”

Not much is known about Brahmastra except for the fact that it is first of the triology that Ayan Mukerji is making. The superhero flick will be made on a big scale and Ranbir Kapoor is training under Hollywood stunt co-ordinators.

Brahmastra will go on floors in March. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions with Fox Star Studios and Namit Malhotra, CEO of Prime Focus, the film is releasing on August 15, 2019.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in 101 Not Out with Rishi Kapoor. The release date is yet to be announced. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in 2018’s highly awaited yet untitled film which is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film is slated to release on June 29, 2018.
