Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan are coming together for the first time in Brahmastra. When this piece of news was announced, not surprisingly it took the Indian movie buffs by a pleasant surprise. Undoubtedly, this has only created more curiousity about this superhero film. And now, in an epic moment of sorts, the Brahmastra trio was captured in one frame along with their director Ayan Mukerji.

It is a known fact that the lead couple of Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt shot for a major schedule of the film in Bulgaria. Now that they are back to their hometown Mumbai, they will soon be resuming the next schedule. Earlier reports claimed that Ranbir Kapoor was prepping for his role in the film too even after returning from the schedule abroad. With the preparations on simultaneously, now it seems that the team is gearing back to take the film on floor yet again very soon. Hence a prepping session was planned with Ranbir as well as Alia and Amitabh Bachchan joining them.

Interestingly, this is the first time where we saw Amitabh Bachchan with the core team of Brahmastra. However, the details of his character are currently kept under wraps. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as a superhero for the first time in this Ayan Mukerji directorial. The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani filmmaker has ambitious plans for this superhero film as he has planned it to be trilogy. Whether the actors from this film will be retained in the rest of the series is yet to known.

After much delay, Brahmastra is finally going on floors this year and the film is slated to hit the big screens on August 15 next year.
