Also called power suits, these are completely bringing back the sass and we are absolutely gung-ho over this exciting phase. Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra was chosen as the keynote speaker by Penguin India to deliver their annual lecture at the Capital. Styled by Ami Patel, Priyanka chose a fierce pink ensemble featuring a top with a plunge and wide leg pants with large buttons on the sides. She layered the look with a trench coat added a dash of finesse to her look. The entire look was from Sergio Hudson’s Fall 2017 collection. a slick of hot pink lipstick. Alia Bhatt

The spunky millennial, Alia Bhatt showed us the playful yet chic side of power dressing by teaming hot pink separates of a blazer and fitted cropped pants from Topshop with a satin lace trimmed cami top. Clear strap stilettos from Steve Madden with a barely-there makeup of pink lips, nude eyes and a wavy high ponytail rounded out her look. Making a case for a sartorial, fuss-free and well put-together look, Alia Bhatt added yet another charming chapter to her steal-worthy book of style.

Deepika Padukone

For the Fortune Most Powerful Women event, Deepika who was styled by Shaleena Nathani wore a satin pantsuit featuring a lace-trimmed cami, blazer and high-waist parallels from Lanvin’s Resort 2018 collection. Nude pointy-toed pumps, statement pearl earrings, sleek centre-parted low back ponytail, bright lips and defined eyes, courtesy Sandhya Shekar topped off her look. A powerful look that was minimal and done to perfection, Deepika oozed an understated elegance.

Sonam Kapoor

Whilst in Geneva as the brand ambassador for India and Arabia for the luxury Swiss watch brand, IWC Schaffhausen Sonam Kapoor stirred up a storm with sister and stylist, Rhea Kapoor and cut a bright picture in a stark pink suit from the Fall Winter 2017 collection of Bougessa. She further layered it up with a four slits long blazer with a pair of burgundy high boots from Stuart Weitzman rounding it out with a pair of statement red earrings from Marni, a subtle makeup of berry tinted lips, blushed cheeks, delicately lined eyes and blow-dried hair, courtesy makeup and hair stylist, Namrata Soni.

Kareena Kapoor

In a tete-a-tete with Hillary Clinton for the India Today Conclave 2018, Kareena was styled by Tanya Ghavri and wore a Prabal Gurung creation featuring an ivory twill crepe tailored blazer with ruffle sleeve and the ivory twill crepe bootleg pant. Black pointy toes, a statement ring, loose low back bun along with a subtle makeup of nude lips, dark eyes and faintly blushed cheeks, courtesy makeup and hairstylist Subbu rounded out her look. A fiercely feminine look, Kareena owned the pantsuit like a boss at a platform where she interacted with Hillary Clinton – the trendsetter of the sassy pantsuit!

Kangana Ranaut

Styled by Ami Patel and Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya, Kangana Ranaut teamed a full sleeved lace blouse with jacquard-patterned blazer and cropped jacquard pants. She further pepped up the look with bright red stilettos and steered clear of any jarring accessories, the bespectacled Kangana opted for a minimal makeup of nude eyes, blushed cheeks and soft pink lips, courtesy makeup artist Lovleen Ramchandani while hair stylist Divya Naik eased Kangana’s bouncy mane into a sleek updo. Erdem x H&M made a dream debut last Fall and regaled us with some classic pieces that effortlessly blend elegance with romance.

Ileana D’Cruz

For the promotions of Baadshaho, Ileana D’Cruz took power dressing to a whole new level of chic. One look had her wearing a pink metallic pantsuit from Intrinsic with a black cami underneath. She accessorised her look with rings and earrings from Minerali Store rounding out the look with sleek centre-parted hair, dramatic dark eyes, and nude matte –lips. Going high-street style chic, Ileana was styled by Tanya Ghavri for this promotional look.

Neha Dhupia

For Vogue BFFs Season 2, host Neha Dhupia was styled by Tanya Ghavri infused colour blocking to the power suit with a pink cami, red collarless cape blazer and pants from Lavish Alice. Pink open-toed sandals, a small pink clutch along with a stunning makeup of bright red lips, defined eyes and sleek loose waves. Colour blocking is tricky style and keeping it all in the same tone family, we loved Neha Dhupia’s brilliant #OOTD.

Sonakshi Sinha

Appearing on Vogue BFFs 2 with Manish Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha teamed her powder blue Lavish Alice separates featuring cropped ruffle down pants and bluebell sleeves blazer, accessorizing her look with earrings and ring from Misho Designs and Steve Madden stilettos. Minimal makeup that defined her eyes along with nude pink lips and a sleek low back ponytail topped off her look. Sonakshi who was styled by her go-to stylist, Mohit Rai pushed the envelope for quirky pantsuits with this sleek look and upped the game with some funky jewellery.

Aditi Rao Hydari

Making an appearance for a store launch in Delhi, Aditi Rao Hydari kept things simple but classy in a plaid suit by Anjali Jani. A barely there makeup with the exception of bright lips and chiselled cheeks along with loose waves topped off her look. Styled by Sanam Ratansi, we love how Aditi allowed her super chic look to take centre stage by keeping the other elements of the look muted.

Athiya Shetty

The newbie and the very stylish millennial Athiya Shetty got the pantsuit game all figured out with her Dejana Lukić blue separates with a black cami underneath. Strappy open-toed sandals, signature minimal makeup and loose waves topped off her look. A simple look that highlights the vibrant blue, the ensemble suits Athiya Shetty to T.
