Shah Rukh Khan, who turned a year older just a day ago, decided to send across a special invite to the media to celebrate the occasion with them. The actor, who wrapped up his cake cutting ceremony with them at a plush five star in suburban Mumbai, also had a brief chat with journalists where he revealed some interesting anecdotes about his films as well as his birthday shenanigans.

Amidst a series of questions that were thrown towards the superstar, Shah Rukh Khan answered almost all of them patiently. One amongst them was about receiving wishes from Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. While media has often reported several articles talking about the delicate relation between the Khans of Bollywood, the trio [Salman, Aamir and Shah Rukh] have time and again asserted that their friendship remains strong. Shah Rukh Khan, who rang in his special day with family and close friends in Alibaug, maintained that he received birthday wishes from everyone from the fraternity including Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

He further added that Aamir Khan insisted on coming to the venue where Shah Rukh was cutting the cake with the media. King Khan said, “Aamir Khan wanted to come here. I told him that all of you [the media] are here and he wanted to join you guys. So he may just drop by in some time. I told him to take his own time and come, when things go a little calmer and everyone is finished with the media meet. He might come anytime.”
