After last week’s slow releases, this week we see the much delayed John Abraham – Diana Penty starrer PARMANU – THE STORY OF POKHRAN. The film which has been in the news for all the wrong reasons finally hit screens today after receiving rather positive reviews from the critics. But will PARMANU manage to woo the audience is the question of the hour.
Reports suggest that PARMANU – THE STORY OF POKHRAN has opened on a decent note with occupancy rates being pegged at a steady 15%. With positive reviews from critics, the business of the film is expected to see good growth over the weekend. Simultaneously, RAAZI that released a while back continues to draw in audiences and remains as their second choice. On the other hand, this week’s Hollywood release SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY has opened on a slow note, but is expected to pick up over evening and night shows.
On the whole, PARMANU – THE STORY OF POKHRAN is expected to grow over the weekend raking in good numbers, while RAAZI that has slowed down considerably still finds favour and is likely to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark by the end of the weekend.
