This week, cinema halls featured a wide variety of films, from horror to comedy to drama with a whopping eight releases, including DESI KATTEY, 3 A.M., CHAARFUTIYA CHHOKARE, MAINU EK LADKI CHAAHIYE, BALWINDER SINGH FAMOUS HO GAYA, BEYOND THE THIRD KIND and DEAR V/S BEAR. However, all films have started on a dismal note.
While 3AM and CHAARFUTIYA CHHOKARE were the only two to feature morning shows, their opening has been very bad with reports suggesting that they have opened to a measly 10%, the other releases hardly have any shows in the theatres. On the other hand, last week's releases KHOOBSURAT and DAAWAT-E-ISHQ that performed decently last week, have retained their hold.
Currently, the general view is that most of the small films have opted to release this week as next week will see release of two biggies BANG BANG and HAIDER.
