After last week's clash between Rustom and Mohenjo Daro, this week we see the release of the comic caper Happy Bhaag Jayegi. But will the film featuring an ensemble cast manage to takeover from the Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom that has been doing brisk business is the question.
Reports suggest that Happy Bhaag Jayegi has opened on a slow note with occupancy rates during morning shows being pegged at 15%, on the other hand Rustom continues its stellar run with occupancy rate of 30%. Further reports also state that the newer release will in all likelihood face stiff competition from Rustom, which is likely to touch the Rs. 100 crore mark this coming week.
On the whole, Happy Bhaag Jayegi that has received mixed reviews from critics will have to depend on positive word of mouth from the audience to post decent weekend figures, while Rustom is expected to continue enjoying the audiences' favour.
