The Punit Malhotra directed film Student of the Year 2 released last week on Friday. Starring Ananya Panday, Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria the film opening on a good note, but began to see a decline in collections post its opening weekend.

As of now, with the Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu starrer De De Pyaar De hitting screens, Student of the Year 2 faces a daunting task ahead. Predictions currently state that while the new release will flourish at the box office, Student of the Year 2 just about manages to feature a few shows.
