China Box Office: Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan collects USD 2.88 million on Day 10 in China; nears Rs. 170 cr

By Bollywood Hungama News Network

The Kabir Khan directed film Bajrangi Bhaijaan starring Salman Khan released just 10 days ago in China. Since then the film which opened at the number 7 spot on the list of daily highest grossers witnessed good growth in business jumping to the number 4 slot, to remain constant at the China box office. Now on its tenth day running the film still managed to retain its position on the list with USD 2.88 million [Rs. 18.72 cr] coming in on Day 10.

With a spike in collections over its second weekend in theatres the total collections of Bajrangi Bhaijaan at the China box office is currently pegged at a massive USD 26.07 million [Rs. 169.44 cr]. Though the collections of the Salman Khan film do not manage to rival the previous Aamir Khan starrers Dangal and Secret Superstar that released in China, the film does manage to hold its own against other releases that includes the Hollywood Oscar winning flick Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Given the fact that Bajrangi Bhaijaan like previous Bollywood releases in China is finding a good market and audience within this territory the film is expected to continue its theatrical run in China. If that wasn’t all, the overall collections of the film, at the China box office are estimated to cross Rs. 170 cr by the end of the day.
