Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai ended 2017 with a bang. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar the film which also featured Katrina Kaif in the lead role seems to have been unstoppable at the box office. In fact, the Yash Raj Films venture has managed to rake in a staggering Rs. 333.58 cr till date at the domestic box office alone.
In this special report we take a look at the fifth weekend collections of Tiger Zinda Hai while comparing the same to previous releases till date that have made it to the fifth weekend. Though Tiger Zinda Hai has managed to collect Rs. 3.83 cr on its fifth weekend the film ranks fourth on the list, preceded by previous releases like Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that collected Rs. 6.97 cr, Dangal that collected Rs. 6.12 cr, and 3 Idiots that had collected Rs. 4.88 cr.
However on the other hand the business of Tiger Zinda Hai has outperformed certain other releases like Baahubali - The Beginning that had collected Rs. 3.70 cr, Bajirao Mastani that collected Rs. 3.15 cr, PK that collected Rs. 2.72 cr, Hindi Medium that collected Rs. 2.45 cr, Sultan that collected Rs. 1.51 cr, and Queen that collected Rs. 1.30 cr.
Interestingly, Tiger Zinda Hai despite running in theatres since December still continues to feature few shows in selected territories.
