The Ali Abbas Zafar directed film Tiger Zinda Hai released back in December 2017. Starring Salman Khan the Yash Raj Films production venture fast become one of the most successful films of the year. After opening on a high note, the business of Tiger Zinda Hai which saw one of the widest releases both in the domestic and international markets witnessed stellar growth in the subsequent days and weeks.
Now after its fifth weekend running Tiger Zinda Hai has managed to draw in a staggering Rs. 333.58 cr. But in this box office report we take a look only at the fifth weekend collections of Tiger Zinda Hai while comparing the same to previous releases of 2017 that have made it to the fifth weekend. Collecting Rs. 3.83 cr on its 5th weekend, Tiger Zinda Hai becomes the second highest fifth weekend grosser, while the previously released film Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that had collected Rs. 6.97 cr remains as the leader.
On the other hand though the fifth weekend business of Tiger Zinda Hai does manage to surpass the collections of other releases of 2017 like Hindi Medium that collected Rs. 2.45 cr, Golmaal Again that collected Rs. 0.80 cr, Bareilly Ki Barfi that collected Rs. 0.64 cr, and Fukrey Returns that collected Rs. 0.52 cr.
