Ever since the release of his first film Heropanti, Tiger has been striving to make his place as Bollywood’s bonafide action hero. Well, he would be pleased to bits now that he has managed to find his place amongst the best of the best now.

One look at the opening day numbers of the Top-10 Bollywood action films (ever since the 100 Crore Club came into existence) and one gets the gist:

Dhoom: 3 – Rs 34.50 crore

Tiger Zinda Hai – Rs 34.10 crore

Ek Tha Tiger – Rs 33 crore

Singham Returns – Rs 32 crore

Bang Bang – Rs 27.54 crore

Kick – Rs 26.52 crore

Krrish 3 – Rs 25.50 crore

Baaghi 2 –Rs 25.10 crore

Agneepath – Rs 23 crore

Bodyguard – Rs 21.60 crore

As can be seen, Baaghi 2 has managed to find eight’s spot in the list and that is truly remarkable for many reasons. First and foremost, he is the only youngster in this list with just four films behind him. Otherwise, there are superstars like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan occupying all the remaining slots. While Salman Khan has four films in there, Hrithik Roshan follows with three films whereas Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn have a film apiece. This isn’t all as most of the films in this list arrived during major holiday season whereas Baaghi 2 has released on a partial holiday [Good Friday].

Baaghi 2 has emerged as a biggie, and how!
