Wow! Look at this record now. Sultan brought in Rs. 7.43 crore on its 10th Day at its Box Office. What makes it special is the fact that in 2016, amongst 55 odd films that have released so far, a number like this on the *tenth day* is still amongst the Top-10 *first day* collections of Hindi releases.
This is how Day 10 of Sultan stands when compared to Day 1 of Bollywood releases:
Sultan - Rs. 36.54 crore
Fan - Rs. 19.2 crore
Housefull 3 - Rs. 15.2 crore
Airlift - Rs. 12.35 crore
Baaghi - Rs. 11.94 crore
Udta Punjab - Rs. 10.05 crore
Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 - Rs. 8.15 crore
Sultan (Day 10) - Rs. 7.43 crore
Ki & Ka - Rs. 7.3 crore
Ghayal Once Again - Rs. 7.2 crore
The film has held well and with Saturday and Sunday being largely open (what with Great Grand Masti failing to do anything substantial at the Box Office), one expects the second weekend to be close to around Rs. 26-27 crore. This means in its second weekend, Sultan should comfortably go past the first weekend of Ghayal Once Again [Rs. 23.25 crore], Ki & Ka [Rs. 25.23 crore] and Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 [Rs. 20.15 crore].
The film has already brought in Rs. 236.59 crore in 10 days and today and tomorrow would decide where it eventually lands up.
