The Advait Chandan directed film Secret Superstar continues its domination of the Chinese box office. Starring Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim the film which released a while back has been seeing growth in business, however, for the past few days the collections of Secret Superstar at the China box office witnessed a dip. But now on its twelfth day running the collections of the film yet again saw a small but evident spike in business.
In fact, the business of Secret Superstar on Day 12 saw a growth of USD 0.08 million from Day 11 with a total of USD 3.20 million [Rs. 20.39 cr] coming in as compared to USD 3.12 million [Rs. 19.89 cr] on Day 11. Thanks to this the total box office collections of Secret Superstar at the China box office has manage to cross the Rs. 450 cr to record a massive total of USD 72.52 million [Rs. 462.06 cr].
While on one hand the collections of Secret Superstar saw a slight increase, on the other the film’s business that has been doing better than Aamir Khan’s previous release Dangal, seems to have fallen behind since the past couple of days. In fact, when compared to the collections of Dangal that had collected USD 16.16 million on Day 12, Secret Superstar seems all but out of the race.
If that wasn’t enough, even the total collections of the film which has been consistently surpassing the collections of Dangal are now far behind. While Dangal raked in a staggering USD 83.66 million [Rs. 533.29 cr], Secret Superstar has managed just USD 72.52 million [Rs. 462.06 cr].
But given the fact that Secret Superstar still continues to run in China, all eyes are now on the question if the business of the film will surpass Rs. 500 cr at the Chinese box office.
