It was largely a slow day at the Box Office as the films in the running continued to collect but on the lower end. Sanju brought in Rs. 2 crore more and currently stands at Rs. 323.57 crore. With Dhadak releasing this Friday, the screens would be further curtailed for the film. The best collections are expected on Saturday and Sunday but post that it would basically get into the 1 crore per day zone at best.
Ant-Man And The Wasp stayed fair with Rs. 1.75 crore* coming in. With Rs. 25.55 crore* in its kitty so far, it would cross 30 crore over its second weekend and then post that just hang on for a while before new releases arrive next Friday.
Soorma is staying decent to emerge as a coverage affair. It collected Rs. 1.77 crore more on Wednesday which has elevated the collections to Rs. 19.56 crore. The numbers are not high enough to warrant a big hold during the second weekend. However, it would still get at least some count of screens for itself to stay in the running.
