The Alia Bhatt – Vicky Kaushal starrer Raazi directed by Meghna Gulzar released a while back. Based on the book Calling Sehmat the film witnessed exponential growth in collections since its release. With audience in both the domestic and overseas markets welcoming the film with open arms the business of Raazi grew by leaps and bounds.
In this box office analysis we take a look at the overseas collections of Raazi while comparing the same to previous releases of 2018. Collecting a staggering USD 5.38 million [Rs. 36.07 cr] at the close of its fourth weekend in the overseas market, Raazi has managed to become the third highest overseas grosser of 2018. Unfortunately despite the stellar run Raazi has enjoyed in the overseas market the business of the film does not manage to surpass the collections of previous releases like the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaavat that collected USD 29 million [Rs. 194.77 cr] and the Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 2 that collected USD 6.7 million [Rs. 45 cr].
However, given the fact that currently Raazi still continues to draw in audience albeit at a much diminished rate, expectation are that the film will add a few more crores to its overall overseas collections in the days to come.
