Lipstick Under My Burkha starring Konkona Sen Sharma, Aahana Kumar, Ratna Pathak, Vikrant Massey and Sushant Singh after having initial censorship trouble hit screens sans much issues. In fact the film opened on a good note and even witnessed growth over its opening weekend at the domestic box office.
Now in its second week running, Lipstick Under My Burkha that was directed by Alankrita Shrivastava seems to be enjoying a steady run at the box office. While the second weekend collections of the film saw a slight jump in figures, the subsequent weekdays holds prime importance. Interestingly, while Lipstick Under My Burkha earned Rs. 64 lakhs on its second Monday in theatres, the Tuesday collections of the film have witnessed a slight growth.
In fact the film, has managed to draw in a further Rs. 68 lakhs on its second Tuesday taking the cumulative collection of the film to Rs. 16.04 cr. Given the fact that the collections of Lipstick Under My Burkha has seen a slight by visible growth in collections, it certainly looks like the film will breach the Rs. 20 cr mark in the coming days.
