The Madhur Bhandarkar film Indu Sarkar based on the emergency, had recently been making headlines. Well the much talked about film released last Friday to a lukewarm response from the audience.
After opening on a less than desirable note on Friday with just Rs 85 lakhs coming in Indu Sarkar didn’t fare any better on the subsequent days either. In fact on Saturday the film earned Rs. 95 lakhs, with Sunday seeing a little but too late jump in collections with Rs. 1.1 cr.
With this dismal performance at the box office the total earnings of Indu Sarkar stands at Rs. 2.9 cr.
