The recently released Sabbir Khan directed film Heropanti that features two new comers Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon opened well at the box office. While reviews
and audience's word of mouth for the film has been pretty good, we decided to look whether the collections reflect the same.
In this report, we list some of the Highest Opening Day Grossers of 2014, while simultaneously comparing Heropanti to them. Surprisingly, the film comes in at a
stunning sixth position with collections of Rs. 6.58 crores. With this ranking Heropanti has out beaten the collections of Yaariyan that collected Rs.
6.30 crores, Farhan Akhtar - Vidya Balan starrer Shaadi Ke Side Effects that collected Rs. 5.70 crores, and Hasee Toh Phasee that collected Rs. 4.90
crores.
With the weekend still on and the film gaining support from across the diaspora, we wonder whether it will join the ranks of the Highest Opening Weekend Grosser.
