Dishoom saw some growth on Saturday. That was on the cards, considering the fact that Friday collections were hit by rain. Moreover, the film has fair word of mouth, which means collections were bound to increase over the weekend. The film collected Rs. 12.02 crores more and with that, the collections now stand at Rs. 23.07 crores.
The film should have further growth today since family crowds should be out in good numbers. While it is a given that Rs. 36 crores would be comfortably surpassed over the weekend, it won't be surprising if the collections are in Rs. 37-38 crores range as well.
Dishoom has managed to do well so far and while it would be a profit making venture for Sajid Nadiadwala and Eros, it has to be seen how big would it eventually turn out to be for all involved in the long term. A big number in the range of Rs. 15 crore today would be a fantastic result for the Rohit Dhawan directed film.
