Weeks ago we saw the release of the rather off beat film Badhaai Ho. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana the film opened on a good note. Following this, with positive reviews and good word of mouth the business of Badhaai Ho witnessed immense growth in collections as the days passed.
Now after five weeks running we take a look at the collections of Badhaai Ho in its fifth week while comparing the same to previous releases. Interestingly, Badhaai Ho that has been doing roaring business at the box office has managed to draw in Rs. 8 cr out beating the business of Baahubali – The Beginning that had collected Rs. 6.09 cr, to become the 4th highest all time fifth week grosser. Besides Baahubali – The Beginning, the Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat that collected Rs. 7.54 cr as well has been surpasses by Badhaai Ho.
However, the fifth week business of Badhaai Ho does not manage to surpass the collections of certain other releases like Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that collected Rs. 11.78 cr, 3 Idiots that collected Rs. 9.56 cr, and Dangal that collected Rs. 8.95 cr.
