Today we see the release of the Shraddha Kapoor - Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi that is directed by Sabbir Khan. The film which marks Tiger's second venture with director Sabbir Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala has been one of the most talked about films in recent times. Though the film releases in India today, it hit screens a day earlier in the overseas UAE/ GCC territory.
Interestingly, Baaghi has met with a spectacular opening in the UAE/ GCC market collecting USD 232,000 [Rs. 1.54 cr] on Thursday. In fact, opening day collection wise, the film has managed to surpass the previous releases like the Arjun Kapoor - Alia Bhatt starrer 2 States, and the Remo Dsouza directed multi starrer ABCD 2. If that wasn't enough, the opening day collections of Baaghi in the UAE/ GCC market is 3 times that of Tiger Shroff's debut film Heropanti.
