The Akshay Kumar starrer Toilet – Ek Prem Katha that was directed by Shree Narayan Singh hit screens on Friday last week. After wowing the critics the film which apart from entertaining also features a relevant social message has been faring well at the box office.
After opening on a good note, the business of Toilet – Ek Prem Katha saw growth over its opening weekend. Now on its first Monday passing the litmus test the film managed to draw in a further Rs. 12 cr more. Thanks to this the total collections of Toilet – Ek Prem Katha stands at Rs. 63.45 cr
Interestingly, the collections of Toilet – Ek Prem Katha over its four day run have already surpassed the total lifetime collections of the recently released Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal. In fact while Akshay’s film has aggregated Rs. 63.45 cr in four days, the Imtiaz Ali directed SRK starrer has till date raked in just Rs. 62.60 cr
