Box Office: Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan out beats Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year; becomes all time highest opening day grosser

The Aamir KhanAmitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs of Hindostan finally hit screens. Being one of the most anticipated and keenly awaited releases the film opened to a thunderous start at the box office. Thanks to the festive season of Diwali and hiked ticket prices, the business of Thugs of Hindostan saw a massive collection on its first day.

Currently facing no competition at the box office Thugs of Hindostan that enjoys one of the widest releases is expected to continue its stellar run at. In fact, all eyes are now watching whether the film manages to become one of the all-time highest opening weekend grossers.
