The Nitesh Tiwari directed film Dangal that released in Indian back in December 2016, hit screens across the border in China a few weeks ago. Starring Aamir Khan and new comers Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra has been doing extremely well since its release.
In fact, Dangal that witnessed growth in terms of business over the past three weekends continues to hold strong, with the film managing to draw in a further USD 2.84 million [Rs. 18.32 cr] on Day 23. Interestingly, the business of the film seems to be witnessing growth yet again over the weekend, keeping in mind that through the week Dangal which has managed to do business seen a considerable drop in business.
Currently the total collections of Dangal within the Chinese market stand at USD 130.90 million [Rs. 844.69 cr]. Considering the fact that the film’s business sees sustained growth over the weekend, Dangal looks set to cross the Rs. 850 cr mark.
