The Nitesh Tiwari directed film Dangal starring Aamir Khan released a few weeks ago in China. Ever since then the film has been literally unstoppable at the Chinese box office, raking in the moolah week after week. In fact the film has even become one of the first ever non Hollywood titled to emerge as one of the highest grossers in this market.
After pulling in USD 2.74 million [Rs. 17.62 cr] on its twentieth day, Dangal has managed to draw in a further USD 2.51 million [Rs. 16.21 cr] on Day 21. With this Dangal has now managed to cross the Rs. 800 crore collection mark in China. In fact the total collections of Dangal within the Chinese market currently stand at USD 125.37 million [Rs. 809.76 cr].
