In this edition of Box Office Report Card, we analyze Shah Rukh Khan's status as the 'Badshah' of the Overseas market. Taking into consideration two territories namely the US and UK markets, we list the Top 5 grossers in each.
Interestingly, in the UK market, 4 out of 5 Top grossing films are SRK starrers. My Name Is Khan leads the race, followed by Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Veer Zaara
. On fourth position however is Aamir starrer 3 Idiots.
On the other hand, in the US market from the Top 5 Highest Grossers, three films are SRK starrers, namely- My Name is Khan, Don 2 and Chennai Express. Here, Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots features on the top of the list as the highest grossing Bollywood film in the US till date while Ranbir's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani features on fourth position.
With such a massive presence in the top listings of two major overseas market segments, SRK is surely one of the biggest Overseas star.
