‘Kai Po Che!’ triumphs, ‘Zila Ghaziabad’ non-starter!

By Bollywood Hungama

KAI PO CHE has emerged a success story in U.K., U.S.A. and U.A.E. In U.S.A. specifically, the film has crossed $ 500,000 mark in its opening weekend itself, which is a rocking start [in fact, the weekend collections are bigger than STUDENT OF THE YEAR in U.S.A.]. Its performance in Australia is strictly okay, although it witnessed day-wise growth there. The weak spots are New Zealand and Fiji, where the film hasn't performed at all. The Overseas *weekend total* is over $ 1 million [over Rs 5.40 crores] ...ZILA GHAZIABAD is a non-starter in U.K. and U.S.A. ...SPECIAL 26 has crossed $ 1 million mark in U.S.A., which is excellent for a film of this genre ... MURDER 3 has fizzled out in U.K. and U.S.A. ...Punjabi film SINGH VS KAUR is rock-steady in all major markets ...Tamil film AADHI BHAGAVAN is lackluster in U.K. and U.S.A. ...Telugu film JABARDASTH is a dud in U.S.A.

Weekend: February 22 - 24, 2013.
