Director Soumitra Ranade who experimented with a lot of special effects in his debut film Jajantaram Mamantaram which met with mixed response is again delving into the simulation zone for his next film starring Ashmit Patel, Hrishitaa Bhatt and Shwetha Kunoor. The film features India's first computer-generated 3D animated character titled Zampano, which will appear in live action scenes in the film. Zampano is the childhood toy turned friend of the film's heroine and helps her get her love. A Banglore based company Synova has created the character using Maya Unlimited. Zampano has 36 minutes of screen presence in the film and promises to be quite expressive.
