Shekar is also the man who is our 'Birthday Baby' for the day! Having started his career working with a multi-national oil company, Shekar moved to Great Britain in 1970, and worked as an Accountant and Management Consultant. After that, was what one would call as 'Bollywood Calling'. After having acted in many serials and films, he gave Bollywood its first ever taste of 'Innocence' through his first film Masoom, a film that, till today, stands as one of the highlights of the magical tinsel town. Add to that India's evergreen answer to the fantasy genre Mr. India, a film that set unprecedented records. Enter the year 1998; and this man was all over the globe, courtesy his direction of the Academy Award-winning period film Elizabeth. Since then, there has been no looking back for this man, who was recently seen as one of the most poignant judges in a reality show.
