Mehul Kumar is back after the debacle of Fardeen & Amrita starrer Kitne Door Kitne Paas. His next film Jaago is inspired from a true story and stars Sanjay Kapoor, Raveena Tandon & Manoj Bajpai in lead roles. This songless film focuses on the burning issues of the country and with this film, Mehul wants to arouse the sleeping public. The movie is about a 12-year old child who is raped in the local train of Bombay. Sanjay Kapoor and Raveena Tandon, who play the parents of the child, want the law machinery to punish the criminal. Manoj Bajpai, who plays a cop, is assigned the task of solving the case within the next 40 hours. Mehul plans to complete the entire shooting by August end. The movie is slated for release this year-end.
