Subhash Ghai's discovery, actor Vivek Mushran, is finally realising his dream of cutting a music album. He is all set to release his first album, tentatively titled KAHIN HO GAYA. Apart from exercising his vocal chords, Mushran has also penned four songs out of the eight tracks.
Did he take to singing because his film career never really took off? He shrugs off saying, It is not that I am deprived of work. The film offers that were pouring in lately are not too interesting. Cutting an album was always at the back of my mind even while I was doing films. Music has always been my passion. Before I got into movies, I was a santoor player. This happens to be the right time for me to try out my singing skills since I have only two TV serials happening.
At present, Mushran is busy working out details for the music video of the album. He adds, Being personally involved in something creative is a fulfilling experience. I can proudly say that this album is entirely my baby, unlike films, where many people are involved.
