The recently launched Suneel Darshan's Rishta - The Bond of Love is caught up in a bizarre controversy. Apparently, the IMPPA title registration committee overlooked the fact that the rights of the title Rishta rested with the filmmakers Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria who are planning to launch their project with Anil & Aishwarya in the leads. According to them, this precedent can set off an unhealthy trend in the industry with producers adding an English suffix phrase to an already existing title.
