Sunny Leone is on a movie signing spree and a new one that got added to her list of upcoming films was One Night Stand. Earlier we had reported that South star and Bollywood actor Rana Daggubati will be seen playing the lead opposite the actress in the film but there seems to be a change in the decision. The role has now been given to Tanuj Virmani, son of veteran actress Rati Agnihotri.
Stating the reason for the change, an official source close to the film mentioned that because of an ongoing strike in the Telugu industry, many actors and actresses are facing date troubles, owing to the commitment they have given to various projects and Rana Daggubati is no exception. He also mentioned that it wasn’t easy to replace an actor like Rana and they had to undergo the trouble of auditioning 25 actors after which they finally decided to take Tanuj on board. Tanuj Virwani made his debut in Bollywood with Luv U Soniyo and later was seen in Purani Jeans. Though both these films failed to take off, the makers believe that having Sunny as the co-star for his next will surely give a boost to his career.
Produced by Swiss Entertainment PVT LTD, One Night Stand is the directorial debut of Jasmine D’Souza, wife of filmmaker Anthony D’Souza (director of Blue and Boss) and written by Bhavani Iyer. With Sunny Leone transforming her image into the girl next door for the film, the story of the same revolves around the rapport between professionals and explores their intricacies. The film is slated to go on floors in Mehboob Studios in Mumbai and it is said that a major portion of it will be shot abroad. One Night Stand is looking for a release in June 2015.
