Subhash Ghai has returned to Mumbai after attending the Kara Film Festival in Karachi. Mukta Arts Ltd.s acclaimed film IQBAL was showcased as the gala opening film at the Festival and was followed by a retrospective of Subhash Ghai films, which included KISNA, KHAL-NAYAK, TAAL and PARDES. This was the first goodwill visit of Ghai to Pakistan. I appreciate the Government of Pakistans gracious gesture by screening Indian cinema at the Festival. I am sure Kara Film Festival will do a lot to strengthen the relationship between the two countries, Ghai remarked.
