Sonam Kapoor, who has been the face of several brands and campaigns, has been named as the ambassador for the Jio MAMI 18th Mumbai Film Festival and Star India's Word to Screen Market.
Sonam Kapoor announced as the ambassador for MAMI 2016 and Word to Screen MarketSpeaking about the same, Sonam Kapoor said that she was really excited to be associated with Word to Screen Market as she sees immense promise in the initiative. She said that it is an interesting platform to showcase great content and see it manifesting into great entertainment.
The Word of Screen initiative has been curated by publisher and editor Arpita Das of Yoda Press. Arpita along with two jury members will be joining hands with publishing houses to curate several manuscripts that will be pitched to the producers. MAMI Festival 2016 will take place from October 20-27.
Apart from being an ambassador, Sonam Kapoor has also started working for her next film Veere Di Wedding which is produced by Rhea Kapoor and Balaji Motion Pictures and directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
