Sonali Kulkarni via Italy

It’s a common practice to delete a few sequences from the film once it releases. Almost every maker has done it in the past, after gauging the audience feedback to his film. But Sohail Khan has deleted an entire song from MAINE DIL TUJHKO DIYA, which opened last Friday. The song ‘Kuch Bhi Nahin Kuch Nahin Hain’ was deleted from Monday/Tuesday onwards across the country, after Sohail got the feedback that the song was proving a hindrance in the narrative.

Meanwhile, Sohail has packed his bags for a long vacation with his wife and kid before he embarks on his new project. It’s about time I took a holiday before my son stops recognising me and starts calling me ‘uncle’ (laughs). I haven’t thought of my next film yet, he tells me. As far as the acting assignments are concerned, although the talented guy has received a couple of offers, he hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet.
