The Shiv Sena strikes back and in literal sense. Known for its notorious acts as far as Bollywood is concerned, the Shiv Sainiks this time have targeted Yash Raj Films' next project Bunty Aur Babli currently being shot in Varanasi. The Sainiks are enraged over the film unit for shooting a song sequence on Rani Mukherhjee at the traditional gymnasium Sri Swaminath Akhara. They are complaining over the issue that women are not allowed to enter the akhara premises. They are now demanding that the scenes shot inside the akhara be cut from the film failing which they will disrupt further shooting schedules in their district. And if the filmmakers give them a false assurance and still go forward with those scenes in the final print, the Shiv Sainiks will resort to their infamous act of burning down the cinema-halls screening the movie. However the actual reason for the Sena wrath seems to be something else. Reportedly the local Sainiks wanted to meet the stars of the film, esp. Rani Mukherjee on the shooting sets. But the actress refused to comply their requests that annoyed the Sainiks and they thereby are trying to find petty reasons to harass the film unit members. However Amitabh Bachchan and Raj Babbar recently completed the first schedule of the film under tight security.
