Sanjay Chhel is all set to embark on his next two projects. Subhash Ghai's Mukta Arts Ltd. will produce the first project, while Metalight [SATTA, 3 DEEWAREIN] will produce the second.
The Subhash Ghai-produced film might star Paresh Rawal and Om Puri in central roles. "We've already spoken to them and they've agreed to do the film in principle, but issues such as dates and remuneration are still being worked out," Chhel tells me.
As for the main lead, the makers are vacillating between established names and new faces. "Ideally, we'd prefer established names, but if the dates don't match, only then we'd opt for newcomers," the director adds.
The Metalight-produced film is titled CHOCOLATE and Chhel describes it as a romantic-comedy. "We're still working on the script and the casting would be decided once we're through with the writing part," he divulges.
