There was panic all around when the news of the Jat hero getting shot at spread like wild fire on Saturday (August 18) evening. The rumour mills were working overtime, citing his latest hit which had an anti-Pak theme as the cause of the assassination. We were inundated with calls from film-makers and newspapers, who had heard the rumours as well. But the actor in question was hale and hearty (thank God for that!) and in fact, was shooting for one of his films at an outdoor location. This was indeed a cruel joke!
