Earlier we had reported that Ronnie Screwvala, the former head honcho of UTV-Disney, was all set to enter Bollywood production once again. In fact Screwvala had decided to back a Bollywood film which has new writers and directors that would be a rom-com set amidst an urban setting dealing with intricacies of relationships and hilarious take on changing dynamics between these relations in society. Well now we hear that Screwvala will also be producing yet another film that will be based on the prolific lawyer-politician Ram Jethmalani.
Ronnie Screwvala to produce film based on Ram JethmalaniThe yet untitled film will apparently be a biopic being jointly made by Ronnie Screwvala, Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan. Confirming the same Screwvala stated that Ram Jethmalani is without question one of the greatest lawyers of our time and that his genius and flamboyance makes him an interesting character.
If that wasn’t all, it is also learnt that the said film will be collaboration between Screwvala, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu. Talking about the same Soha added that it was providence that she and Kunal who have been toying with the idea of starting up a production house to develop new content got chatting with a mutual friend who incidentally is writing a book on Jethmalani. Further talking about the venture with Screwvala, Soha adds that though she and Kunal were planning on developing the same as a web series or a long-running TV show when they were approached by Ronnie with the idea of making it as a Hindi feature film.
