Filled with bloodshed and gang wars, Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar franchise explores the dramatic and dark underworld and the filmmaker is all set for the third instalment. Besides Amitabh Bachchan who will be seen as the protagonist even in Sarkar 3, the casting of the film has undergone a complete change for this instalment. Yami Gautam, who has been roped in for the same, will play a negative character.
REVEALED: Yami Gautam turns villain in Sarkar 3Yami Gautam claims that she is excited and equally nervous. The actress, who made her debut in Bollywood with Vicky Donor, will play a character with grey shades for the first time. Elaborating a little more about it, Yami mentioned that she will avenge her father’s death. She also expressed the happiness on the positive feedback she received for the look of her character which was released by filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma in August last year on social media.
On the other hand, working on Sarkar 3 was a ‘dream-come-true’ moment for Yami Gautam for an altogether different reason. It is an opportunity to work with veteran megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Describing the experience as ‘surreal’, Yami Gautam is looking forward to be a part of such an ambitious project.
Yami Gautam, as of now, is gearing up for yet another big project, the Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil in which she plays a visually impaired wife of the superstar. The film is slated to release on January 25.
