Rakesh Roshan wanted to cast Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai for an ad film first, and his home-production later. But he couldn't! But Ramesh Sippy has been successful in casting the two names for his next film, which will be produced by Sippy himself. It seems, the maker of SHOLAY was keen on casting Hrithik after he saw the young actor's work in KAHO NAA... PYAAR HAI, but decided to work on the script of the film before approaching him. However, Hrithik said an instant 'Yes' when he heard the basic idea of the film from the maker. Hrithik's instant haan was also because SHOLAY happens to be his all-time favourite film.
