While you're reading this, Rajjat Barjatya and the new pair of UUF KYA JAADOO MOHABBAT HAI!, Sammir and Pooja Kanwal, have already embarked on a whirlwind tour of fourteen cities to promote the film. In fact, the Barjatyas have never promoted any of their films so aggressively in the past. The team, which commenced the tour from May 16 in Pune, is visiting Baroda, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Mumbai [the premiere of the film will be held here, so they will return to Mumbai for a day!], Lucknow, Kanpur, Delhi, Indore, Aurangabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar and Jaipur. The tour will end on June 1. Meanwhile, Rajshris have decided to employ security guards outside the projection room of cinema halls. That's a pro-active step to curtail piracy, Rajat informs me, We're still vacillating between employing a security guard at every cinema or at a select few cinemas only. In the first phase, UUF KYA JAADOO MOHABBAT HAI! will be released at 55-60 cautiously selected cinemas across India. We will increase the number of prints depending on how the audience reacts to it. We may maintain the same number of prints after a week or two or we may go the MAINE PYAR KIYA and HUM AAPKE HAIN KOUN way, by increasing the prints gradually. But, like I said, everything depends on how the audiences react to the film.
