Percept Picture Company is going from strength to strength! The corporate house is all set to launch a new film, AMARJEET, in few days from now. Directed by ad film-maker turned movie director Sujit Sarkar, who has also directed one more film for Percept, YAHAAN [starring Jimmy Shergill], AMARJEET will star Lara Dutta in the central role, besides a host of impressive names. This one is a thriller. It's one of the most amazing scripts we've laid our hands on, Sahjwani divulges. AMARJEET will be shot in a 45-day schedule beginning next month. Another film that's all set to take off [on June 23] is HAI YEH PAISA, which will be directed by Priyadarshan. A comedy [Priyan has started specializing in this genre of late!], the film will star Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav, Arbaaz Khan, Reema Sen and Ritesh Deshmukh, who has been signing the best of projects, post-KYAA KOOL HAI HUM. However, there's a possibility that the title of this film might be changed to MALAMAAL WEEKLY. Besides, YAHAAN, which has already been completed and is slated for an early release, Percept has also wrapped up the shooting of -- SACRED EVIL: A thriller starring Sarika in the pivotal role. Abhigyan and Abhiyaan have directed the film which has been made in Hindi and English languages simultaneously. THE TRUCK OF DREAMS: Directed by Arun Kumar, the film narrates the story of a small-town girl who aspires to be a Bollywood actress. It has been filmed in an actual truck that projects Bollywood on wheels. The principal character has been portrayed by Peeya Rai Chaudhari. PYAAR MEIN TWIST: Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia, the pair that mesmerized millions of moviegoers in BOBBY and were cast in SAAGAR subsequently, have been teamed in this film, which also stars Soha Ali Khan, Samir Dattani and Farida Jalal in pivotal roles. Hriday [PLAN] Shetty has directed this flick.
